This is an exercise in speaking:
- First you will do part of this dialogue (conversation) with the teacher.
- Then, study this page which explains Grammar 3-2 notes in more detail.
- Next, pairs of students read the dialogue on this website to each other.
- Before you click on the answer, decide if the verb should be past simple or past continuous.
- If you do not know, then click on the answer.
- The goal is to have a natural sounding conversation.
